Join us for Trail Maintenance Day at Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook!
Mark your calendars for March 1st and join us for our quarterly trail maintenance day at Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook Park! We’ll meet at the upper lot at 9 AM to get started.
Volunteer Activities:
Trail Repair: We’ll focus on repairing the trail and reinforcing berms to improve sheet flow drainage.
Switchback Work: We’ll continue working on the switchback below where we left off last quarter. With a solid crew, we’ll make great progress on this repair.
Vegetation Trim: For those who prefer not to dig and shape, we’ll have a separate crew trimming back encroaching vegetation to keep the trails clear.
Drinks and snacks will be provided to keep everyone energized throughout the day.
